Evergreen Tulips

The inspiration of Evergreen Tulip came from my mother’s garden from when I was a little girl. She had grown this beautiful chartreuse tulip that even in the dark, gave a beautiful bright green glow. Year after year these tulips popped up. And, I remember being completely fascinated that the flower could actually be green. The contrast of these green tulips and the other brilliant spring flowers in the warmth of her garden was breathtaking.

Color: Mixture of a deep Hershey chocolate background with rich green stems and white with chartreuse green petals

We have so many people that visit our home and they all gravitate to your painting. Everyone loves it and everybody loves the detail and the color - we just love it. We look at it all the time. A.C.

Diana, Here are a few pictures of your work in our home. We are still playing around with placement etc. They are quite a hit up here with our friends.
