Inspiration from the artist:
The flowers that I paint are all favorites from either childhood or past memories that were incredible, like my son’s wedding in Hawaii. Since color is so important to me I look for flowers that have a vibrancy that you can’t ignore. These are the same flowers that have the strength to stand up to bad weather, as if to say “bring it on”! The range goes from flowers of the tropics to the flowers you may see in your garden or your mother’s garden.
